Charlotte's half birthday

Today, Charlotte is 5 and a half years old! She's such a sweet, compassionate, smart, and spunky little girl. I can't imagine life without her! She's already planning her 12th birthday party. She wants to have a dance party where her friends have a dance competition in the basement and the moms all talk and have snacks upstairs! She cracks me up!

You know what this means....

We're on day 5 and it's going pretty well. My least favorite parenting job so far, though.

Zachary - 3 months old

Already, Zachary is a quarter of a year old! He's such a sweet happy baby. We're so thankful to have him in our lives. Charlotte is especially thankful. She loves her newest baby brother dearly.

National Cathedral

We visited the National Cathedral on Friday, January 6th for the last day of the international creche exhibit. The kids loved looking at all the different creches and spent about an hour down in the crypt. It was the perfect length outing and a nice day to head into the city. They offer this display every year during the Christmas season which ends on the Epiphany. Next up, we need to visit the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. We didn't have time that day before nap time.

Reason #187 why we love homeschooling

As soon as the first flakes of snow appear, you can put your boots on and go outside! Charlotte and AJ were so excited on Monday when we got a surprise snow shower. Total accumulation was about 1 inch!

Zachary and Cameron

Zachary and Cameron were born on Nov 2nd and Nov 3rd respectively. Charlotte and Jacob (Cameron's big brother) are good buds so let's hope for the same between these two cuties. They are both big boys! Cameron was over 9lbs at birth!
