Yes, it's been a while so I'll try to get the blog updated shortly. Charlotte loves her little brothers! You can just feel the love.

Our newest Christian!

Zachary was baptized last Sunday, January 29th, at St. Raymond of Penafort Catholic Church in Springfield, VA.

It was an intimate ceremony with the pastor of our church, our immediate family, my parents, and his godparents - Brian and Missy.


The picture (taken by my dad) captures AJ so well. He's got "with God, nothing is impossible" smirk. AJ is going to need God's love on a daily basis, but don't we all?

I'd been saving a groupon for a dozen cupcakes from Cupcakes Actually in Fairfax. They were fantastic!

All three kids wore the same slip, as well. My mom has each child's name and baptism date embroidered on the slip.

AJ wants to poke or pat Zachary all the time. No surprise there. They're both very sweet to him.

I was making breakfast one morning while Zachary was on the play mat. It seemed awfully quiet for a while. I walked over and found him asleep. Such a good baby!

New light table

I set this up for the kids this weekend and it's a big hit so far. I need some larger bins though. I had everything on hand except the bean bag filler plastic beads. I got three 1lb bags on Amazon but just ordered a few more. Here's how to do it: Get an old coffee table and put rubber non-skid pad on top. Take two under the bed storage containers and drill large holes in the bottom one. Place a string of white Christmas lights in the bottom one and stack the other one on top. Fill it with bean bag filler, toys and cups. Enjoy!
