Dave was out of town this week so we had some friends over for a backyard playdate and grilled for dinner. The weather was sunny and 70s for 4 days straight here. It was awesome! After jumping on the trampoline for a good long time, Charlotte brought out her princess dolls. I thought it was so cute that Jack and Jacob wanted to play with them.

Time to eat! Dinner always tastes better outside. Marcy brought non-alcoholic beer for the mommies since we're all pregg-o.
After dinner, we let the kids decorate leftover cake poppers from when Brian and Erin watched Charlotte and AJ while we were in Charlottesville for a night for Dave's law school reunion. The decorating stuff was a big hit, as were the end treat of eating the poppers. I've never made cake poppers before but they're basically balls of cake dough with icing around them on a stick or toothpick. Such fun!
