Giggle alert

Warning: could make you dizzy from nuggetsmom on Vimeo.

Charlotte always wants to see the image on the LCD screen of the camera. I'm spinning around on my butt trying to keep the camera away from her.

A day with Poppy

Poppy spent the day with us on Sunday before leaving on another trip. He took us out to lunch at Five Guys. Yum!

The rest of our Va Beach trip

These pics are over a week old but better late than never, right? We had a great visit in Va Beach with my parents and bro. Dave was in L.A. for the weekend to be a godfather.

Charlotte helping Poppy with his yardwork.

It wouldn't be a visit to VB without a little naked dip in the pool!

Charlotte playing in the ice cream truck at the mall. She loved this thing and we didn't have to pay a dime for at least 30 minutes of entertainment.

We went blueberry picking one morning in Pungo. We picked about 6lbs of blueberries. It was super hot and humid so we didn't last long, but it was still fun.

Charlotte did actually pick some blueberries and put them in her little bucket.

I think she ate more than she picked :)

Poppy gave her a helping hand.

It's official...

...Charlotte is going to be a BIG sister. That's right, Nugget #2 is on the way. We just heard the heartbeat today for the first time. Due date is January 30th, 2009! We're thrilled.

Norfolk Botanical Garden

I'm blogging from Va Beach and today we visited Norfolk Botanical Gardens for the second time (I forgot my camera when we went in June). They have a wonderful section just for the kids which includes a splash park. Charlotte loves it!

Not a good pic of Charlotte because of the light but you get an idea of the splash park layout and all the kids there.

Charlotte loved this little frog and the playhouse in the background. She would wait for water to spray out of it's mouth. We were trying to discourage drinking the water but it was futile.

Stroller strides

Taking her baby to Stroller Strides from nuggetsmom on Vimeo.

Charlotte and I have been doing Stroller Strides a couple times a week for the past few months. She starts to get antsy toward the end of the hour long class, but seems to really enjoy it. On the car drive there, she happily announces "stroller strides"! I've noticed lately that she has been re-enacting class with her baby stroller at home. One time I caught her running in place and doing stretches. I didn't capture that on this video but she does say that she is going to Stroller Strides. You wouldn't believe how much stuff she can pack in to her stroller. She has two baby strollers and they get used ALL the time. The video can get long so don't feel obligated to watch the whole thing. You can get an idea of how much she is talking now.
