AJ at 4 months

So I'm a little late on posting AJ's four month picture but who's keeping track, right? We took him for his 4 month check-up today. The kid is officially off the charts in all aspects. He weighs 21lbs 8oz and he's 28 inches long. He grew FOUR inches in two months! I'm hoping his growth and weight gain is starting to slow down a bit now. He's one big chunk-a-hunka as I call him. Charlotte loves to tell everyone that he has a "cottage cheese butt". We made that comment once as we were putting him in the bath and she hasn't forgotten it. Okay, off to go through beach pictures.

Baby photoshoot

Rashmi Pappu, a local photographer, wanted to do a photo shoot with babies ranging in age from 0 to 12 months. We all got together in Old Town last night. The results are amazing - check out Rashmi's blog here. We had so much fun! Thank you, Rashmi. I left Charlotte at home because the evening is not a good time of day for her, but I wish I had brought her along for some sibling shots. Another time...

I'm behind

Geesh, it's been over two weeks since my last post. I've probably taken over 500 pictures in that time period - most of them at the beach. I promise to post vacation pictures soon. I'm just now sitting down to go through them. Nanny sent me this picture which she took with her new Canon DSLR camera. I love my little chubster - now 4 months old! Momma needs some highlights - please ignore my dark roots!

BirthCare Babies

We went to our first BirthCare picnic on Sunday to celebrate all the BirthCare babies. Not sure how we ended up front and center in the group shot. Unfortunately, the midwife who caught AJ was not there (someone has to attend to the births that day!) or we would have gotten a family picture with her. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. How many OB practices do you know of that host an annual picnic?! Highly recommend this practice if you want a birth center or home birth. We received top-notch care!
